Getting to college takes more than good grades. Students must search for colleges that are the right fit for them. They must go through an application process, take college entrance exams, complete applications, and meet deadlines. Most must also complete financial aid information.
Our Bridges to College advisers realize this can be an overwhelming and confusing process. That’s why they work one-on-one with selected juniors and seniors.
Our advisers meet monthly with students in the advising program and work with them to keep them on track for college.
Students in the advising program are high school juniors and seniors who have been nominated by a teacher or guidance counselor. Several will be the first in their families to go to college. Our advisers are specially trained volunteers who are committed to helping students.
